Thank you to the AHCS for inviting me to judge their show. Started out damp and grey but
the sun came out just in time for the photos at the end. I had a lovely, and very
international, entry which was really exciting so thank you all for braving the Scottish
summer to come and show me your lovely dogs.

1. Hunter’s Neptune De Koulangar At Sulahmara (IMP Fr) JW. 22 months, black masked
gold. A really lovely boy, loved his expression and his considerable gold coat which
was beautifully presented. Balanced front and rear and well muscled. Moved well
with plenty of drive. BD.

1. McDonald, Martyn and Hindley’s DeuVDH Ch. NightwindQuantum Jahera At Birkhall
(AI/IMP Deu) ShCM. 9 years, black masked gold dog. A very distinguished gent.
Greying slightly around the muzzle but otherwise could be half his age. Lovely strong
head, deep saddle and beautiful coat in a puppy cut. Moved well but lacked a little
muscle condition at the rear, well deserved BVIS & RBD.

1. Sorsa-Leslie’s Villisilkin Anais Anais (IMP Fin). 8 months, Black and Tan. Super wee
lady, full of fun. Lovely feminine head and expression. Well constructed, light in
bone but strong, front and rear balanced. Well muscled and good body condition.
Moved well with plenty of spring. BPIS.
Junior Bitch: 1/1
1. Gilchrist and MacLennan’s Taejon Winx At Khawari (IMP Aus). 18 months, black
masked gold. Lovely lady, very elegant and feminine. Beautifully presented coat,
loved the contrast of the pale gold with the black mask. Well constructed and
muscled. Carries her head and tail very stylishly on the move. Plenty of reach and
drive. RBB.
Yearling Bitch: 3/4
1. O’Donnell’s Joneca Burning Love At Javidan. 22 months, brindle. Attractive young
lady, striking very dark mask and lovely expression. Very feminine head, good length
of neck. Lovely red/brown saddle, coat beautifully presented. Balanced front and
rear. Moved with real purpose.
2. Sinclair’s Joneca Ash N Embers At Gothikland. 22 months, self masked gold. Another
attractive young lady. Lovely feminine head with lovely expression. Gorgeous deep
gold coat which was well presented. Balanced front and rear, narrower in front than
1. Moved well with plenty of spring.
3. Stevens and Squires Jazzmeenah Bana Moonbow At Tabordane.
Postgraduate Bitch: 1/2
1. McDonald, Martyn and Hindley’s Laava’s Mini Me’z Opportunity At Birkhall. 3 years,
self masked gold. Lovely girl, beautiful expression. Feminine head, good length of
neck. Beautiful coat, lovely deep saddle. Good angulation front and rear. Moved
well, better once settled.

1. MacMillan’s Andizhan Czarina. 5 years, cream brindle. Lovely girl, feminine head and
expression. Coat beautifully presented. Carrying a little extra weight but in good
muscle condition. Balanced front and rear. Moved well, held her level top line
throughout.
Open Bitch: 2/3
1. McDonald, Martyn and Hindley’s Nightwind What A Girl At Birkhall (IMP Deu) ShCM.
4 years, black masked gold. Absolutely lovely girl. Loved her feminine head and
expression, so elegant. Well constructed, balanced throughout in great condition,
well muscled. Beautiful coat with a lovely deep saddle. Moved with real grace and
elegance, yet powerful. She just shone, BB and BIS.
2. Gilchrist and MacLennan’s Sumakandi Into The Light At Khawari JW. 4 years, brindle.
Another lovely lady. Lovely expression, dark face and eye, strong but feminine head.
Lovely coat beautifully presented, well muscled underneath. Balanced front and
rear. Moved well but lacked a bit of sparkle.
